Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, chicken, or goat, cubed small
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 green chili, sliced
Preparation
- Cook meat: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add meat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
- Add vegetables: Add onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes. Cook 5 minutes until softened.
- Season: Stir in cumin, paprika, and chili (if using). Cook 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
- Serve: Serve with canjeero, malawah or rice.
