Melaku Alebel has served as Ethiopia’s:
- Minister of industry
- Minister of trade
- Minister of trade and industry
- Vice-president and bureau head of industry and Investment in Ethiopia’s Amhara regional state
- Investment commissioner at the Amhara regional State Investment Commission
Melaku Alebel has held leadership roles at the Amhara trade and transport bureau and Amhara industry and urban development bureau.
He has also held various roles in the former North Goner Zone and Woreda of Ethiopia.
