Fried bananas or plantains

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas or plantains, sliced into rounds
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey
  • Optional: Pinch of cinnamon

Preparation

  • Fry: Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add banana or plantain slices and cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Sweeten: Sprinkle with sugar or drizzle with honey. Add cinnamon if desired.
  • Serve: Serve warm as a sweet side or snack.
