Ingredients
- ½ cup millet (or cornmeal)
- 2 cups water or milk
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: ½ tsp ground cardamom or cinnamon
Preparation
- Cook millet: In a pot, bring water or milk to a boil. Gradually stir in millet and salt.
- Simmer: Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes until thick and creamy.
- Sweeten: Stir in sugar or honey and cardamom or cinnamon (if using).
- Serve: Serve warm in bowls, topped with extra honey if desired.
